As the former band member of "The Tonight Show" and also serving as the musical director for Stanley Clarke for 10 years, keyboardist has released the single "Feeling Smooth".
Taken from his CD "Romance", the track is reminiscent of 70's Quincy Jones style with grandeur film score type jazz with compelling horns and keys.
The groovy melody shifts and segues from a lush string arrangement to straight-ahead jazz in a seamless fashion with dizzying chord progressions.
"Feeling Smooth" truly gives off the feeling of high society soirees, fancy dresses and expensive jewelry. Lots of piano solos abound on a track one will continue to enjoy with every listen.
