A chance meeting between saxophonists Mo Louis and Euge Groove while purchasing an instrument not only produced a lasting friendship but also a collaboration on Mo's groovy hot single "Turn it Up".
In a recent interview, Mo recalls meeting Euge when he went to purchase one of his saxophones. "I'll never forget standing in his studio and him putting on one of his own tracks for me to play along with. Talk about a humbling moment."
Mo said that he expressed to Euge his desire to release his own music and Euge provided the lucky break that Mo needed.
Mixed and mastered by Euge Groove, "Turn it Up" is catchy with breezy sax notes and stunning guitar from Jeff Carruthers.
Before meeting Euge, Mo spent 15 years playing smooth jazz on the Southern California circuit.
